Investor Visa

As per the Peraturan Menteri Hukum dan HAM (Permenkumham) Nomor 22 tahun 2023, for the Director or Commissary whose names mentioned in the Notary Deed of company establishment and also as share holders in the company with proof of share ownership of at least IDR 10,000,000,000.00 (ten billion rupiah), then the RPTK and working permit are not required.

 

Step 1: Visa process.

First of all for the new applicant for investor visa must register their company visa account at the Director General of Immigration's Online Visa Account.

Step 2: It takes 7 - 10 working days to process (normal process). Or 3-4 working days (Express).

The E-Visa can be applied directly at the Directorate General Immigration by using on line application. The required documents are colour scan of :

 

     • The notary deed of company establishment and approval from the Ministry of Justice Dept
     • NPWP / Company tax ID
     • NIB & Izin usaha ( company license)
     • Indonesian ID Card (e-KTP) and Personal Tax ID of the Director
     • Valid Nationality Passport at least 6 (six) months.
     • Proof of living expenses of at least US$ 2,000 (two thousand US Dollars) or equivalent.
     • Latest color photograph.
     • Curriculum Vitae.
     • Travel Itinerary.
     • Evidence of share ownership of at least Rp10,000,000,000.00 (ten billion rupiah) or equivalent in the guarantor company listed            in the Ministry of Investment / Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board.
     • Company current account for the last 2 (two) months.

Step 3 : Issuance of the E-ITAS & MERP at the Directorate General Immigration

Upon the issuance of the E-visa from the Directorate General Immigration, within 90 days the applicant should enter Indonesia using the E-VISA.
After entering Indonesia with the E-Visa, the Director General of Immigration will automatically issue an E-ITAS & MERP in the company Visa Online account.

 

Step 4: It takes 3-5 working days for STM application, and 15 working days for SKTT
After the E-itas is issued, then here are other permits that should be applied :
   1. STM / Surat Tanda Melapor (Resort Police Report) issued by Resort Police Dept.
   2. SKTT (Surat Keterangan Tempat Tinggal) or so called “Green Card” issued by Civil Department

 

Step 5: It takes 7 working days
     • Laporan Keberadaan TKA (Existance report) issued by local Manpower Dept. This Laporan Keberadaan TKA currently only                applied for Company whose office in Tangerang or Karawang, or Bogor, or Depok. While in Jakarta, Laporan Keberadaan is no          longer applicable.
